Why YPS?

A question we were asked when we started this group was "aren't there enough youth oriented sites spreading the gospel of community involvement?". Well I suppose the answer is yes and no. Yes if you consider the sheer number of youth oriented websites and no if you consider that there are still too many people who have no idea on how to get involved with their community.

Someone should start a fund raiser where the main goal will be to help finance the search for the Filipino's sense of humor. To those who may not know it, David Letterman hosts a talk show where COMEDY is the operative word every day. Now though some jokes may be funnier than others I don’t think this one is worthy of a diplomatic or legislative storm.

Our Constitution, the fundamental law of the land, can be changed in three ways. One is through a Constitutional Convention where delegates are elected by the people. This is how our 1987 constitution was drafted. Second is through an initiative where twelve percent (12%) of the total registered voters can sign a petition for charter change.
