YPS

We began as an organization dedicated to promoting Good Governance and Democratic Citizenship among the youth. We not only aim to encourage and promote awareness among the youth but to provide relevant information and a venue for collaboration and change by addressing current issues, socio development and political agendas to further involve the youth in nation building.

We strongly oppose corruption in all forms whether in Government, in the private sector or even within our own communities. The basic foundation of Good Governance is built on Good Citizenship and is reflected by our values, principles and the way we live our daily lives. YPS supports those who continue to espouse the values of good citizenship in their work and we support those who go beyond what is required of them for the sake of building our nation and upholding the truth.

We cannot lose hope and instead offer hope in the form of our youth. Amidst the confusion and search for a common path, we must help provide clarity and continue to answer calls for action-for us to listen and discern just as much as for our voices to be heard. Now is our time, it is time to make our move. And as long as our actions are grounded on the foundations of good governance and good citizenship then we are on the right track.

We will continue to provide information through our website www.yps.org.ph on papers, articles and activities that the youth can use to understand the issues better. There are many efforts and activities geared towards engaging the youth. We encourage you to participate and engage and we look forward to seeing you in one activity or the other. Let us all work hand in hand in pursuit of our goals and with love for our country. A summary of activities that the youth can participate in will be provided in the website and will be updated regularly.
