My 2 cents....

Without prejudice to anyone, and from a purely academic point of view, I think this will be a great case study for those who truly believe that a political outsider can come in less than 2 years before a NATIONAL ELECTION FOR PRESIDENT.

Some thoughts;

· winning an election is not the end of the road.

· Running a government unit is about managing people not just winning an election

· The people must physically support their winning candidate they choose BEYOND the winning of the elections

· The NGOs and other affiliated groups must be willing to physically support their winning candidate they support BEYOND the elections

· A winning political outsider must have the savvy to manage the losing political opponents either through political negotiations of good will, through the fullfillment of the opposing constituencies needs and managing the expectations of the previous beneficiaries of the previous political groups

I mean kung si Erap nga lehitimong PRESIDENTE NG PILIPINAS napatalsik ng social advocates and political revolutionaries, then a dark horse winner of a local government official should not expect anything less that hardships and heartaches before realizing his goals.

And this is why superheroes never marry.
