Why the Administration is steamrolling all over our civil society groups

A story in the news today exemplifies why the Administration is steamrolling all over our civil society groups and protectors of our freedoms.

When a Government deal is under investigation, lets say ZTE, and has a key witness that it wants to isolate, that key witness is:

1. Isolated from the media
2. Taken to an undisclosed airfield or port
3. Smuggled on to an outgoing international vessel
4. Assured that his family will be taken care of
5. And he will not return again until the heat dies down or is overtaken by another scandalous individual.

On the other hand....

When Civil Society is trying to pin a big deal riddled with corruption, like say, the ZTE scandal, and, lets say, a highly placed witness in the ZTE deal, possibly friendly to Civil Society leaders , is coming home after being sent away (allegedly) by the Government to protect itself, what does Civil Society do?

1. Witness calls his best friend ( he calls him Bro) and tells him he's coming home to clear his name on the ZTE deal
2. Best friend ( high member in known civil society group) tells him to take care and put it in the hands of God (????)
3. Witness then comes home on a commercial flight (????) where he is immediately whisked by (allegedly) allies of the government
4. Best friend and family now want to petition Supreme Court for writ of Habeas Corpus and Amparo (HEEELLLOOOOOOO!)
5. Civil society group will hold vigil in front of the Senate ( perhaps the Candles will help them "see the light")

Listen.

Can you hear that people?

That's the sound the (allegedly) corrupt people in government laughing.
